I have become very fascinated with TXN this past 2-3 years. It appears to have a number of very positive factors on its side.
-widespread corporate/management respect in any country/market in which it is involved. -rich product line in its semi field -huge,upside market potential for its DSP-like products. -a recent redefinition of its corporate priorities, clearly one of the most successful undertakings in technology over past 10 years. -excellent response to shareholder concerns/suggestions.
All related commentary at this post today is well-taken and 'right on the beam' as far as I'm concerned.
I'll be holding on to my stake for many years to come.
