This may be speculating a bit too far, but if you guys look at the document they released April 2nd saying when they would be doing the conference cal, it says that Carrabba will not be on it. That is highly unusual, seriously go back to all the other earnings announcements and calls and he is on every single one of them, so why not this one? Is the composition of management changing? If I am speculating too far please let me know, but I think a lot of us have wanted some change and we might actually be about to get it.
Interesting piece of news Dan - well stated - I think in fact if he IS getting sacked then it will come out of the blue with a bold PR to boot - probably would not be a connecting-the-dots approach that you seem to be taking.
Nevertheless this is most interesting.
Clf is a broken down company. Noone has any respect for it and only way they can have some respect is if they beat earnings est by a landslide and prove that they are on the way to a solid improvement. The company's business philosophy and the model must change and that might happen only if carrabba is removed.
oh yeah you are correct. When I pull it up for some reason Paradie is in nice 12 point font but Carrabba is in like 4 so I didn't even notice it before. Still though, we can all hope!
