... even if there is potential here, I think that PLX wouldnt know what to do with it. After waiting half an hour for the scheduled call, here's the result of my teleconference with their investor relations:
Me: "Hi Marcy, I just wanted to check and make sure we are still on for a chat."
Marcy: "My apologies - I had an opportunity to close the nasdaq (ring the bell) with the ny giants - something you don't pass up!! Can we chat tomorrow?"
Me: "Thats alright. Sounds like a lot of fun. Im heading to san francisco tomorrow for a week. Im giving up on PLX as many in the retail market have and are doing. I dont know if they have no idea what they are doing, if their platform doesnt measure up or if they have just used retail investors. Either way it seems ridiculous that the only press all month has been that insiders sold nearly a million shares. This doenst look good to the retail market and PLX seems uninterested in keeping us in the loop. Its not that they arent out there making pitches, its just not accessible to the bulk of their shareholders. Many of us find this insulting and I have finally concluded that this company just must not have anything positive to share. Im extremely disappointed."
I really cant tell if there is really something here or if its total BS. Could the Pfizer website be all the marketing effort going on? Is the next therapy years and years away? Where is the info on what and how much milestone payments are?
Im tired of making excuses. We just dont know what is going on aside from management selling nearly a million shares. That is the only fact we know. So either there is no substance or these conferences are an indication that PLX is only interested in catering to institutional investors. Thus we are either being bamboozled or used and Im tired of it.
