I just don't get it.
HG still Number 1. Grossed over $500 million. Cabin does ok this weekend. Will still be a profitable movie.
Yet stock is down 2%.
Makes no sense. Has everything been priced into this stock? Is this the top?
I'm in at $10 share. Not sure whether to sell at this point or buy more.
Actually the reason is no one is willing to pay more and people are selling at current price. That’s how it works. Just because you are in love with it don’t mean the big money is. Guess they don’t read yahoo message boards. You guys are so funny. There are so many stocks out there to make money on and all you same people sit on this board all day everyday watching it drop. And before you call me a short I covered my short in the low 13s. I wont claim to know where the bottom is but its not there yet. Look at a 20day 30min chart and ask yourself why you would buy it. I might buy again myself when I see a bottom but for now I’ll keep my money in stocks that are going up.
LGF is down fairly big this morning due to the Chief Financial Officer selling out more than half his stock position since April 11, 2012. Makes a bad look since as he is the head bean counter for LGF. Is good ???
It was all planned ahead back in March when they didn't know for sure that the movie would do this good:
There's only 60,00 shares of this that aren't already done. I think it's blown out of proportion, but that's just my guess.
Patience. Stop lookng at stock price every ten minutes. Drive you nuts. Insider selling and shorts impacting price. Forget about it. In six months, stock will be up 25%. Easy. This is a fundamentally sound long-term earnings growth story. Simple.
I feel positive about the stock and generally agree; either way, it's always nice to get in at lower price (i envy your $5 entry) and not sit there above $14 and wonder. Given the macro environment, it's scary to see that you're losing money when you never know how far the market will pull back. Personally, I lost about 100k when market fell '07-'09; hopefully we're in a different environment now but if euro countries fall in a domino effect, a severe drop will happen. and no one wants to think about it, but u.s. debt isn't very sound either. In addition, look at what AAPL alone is doing to market today; if it misses on earnings, it will take the market down.
1) looks like for now, LGF is a contra play with large investors.
2) HG, 4 weeks in great, but they may be considering lack of competition.
Personally, I'm going back in, but with smaller purchases.
