    Doji Candlestick

The shorts could not keep it down....point of inflection, we are moving up next week!

The Doji is a powerful Candlestick formation, signifying indecision between bulls and bears. A Doji is quite often found at the bottom and top of trends and thus is considered as a sign of possible reversal of price direction, but the Doji can be viewed as a continuation pattern as well.

A Doji is formed when the opening price and the closing price are equal. A long-legged Doji, often called a "Rickshaw Man" is the same as a Doji, except the upper and lower shadows are much longer than the regular Doji formation.

The creation of the Doji pattern illustrates why the Doji represents such indecision. After the open, bulls push prices higher only for prices to be rejected and pushed lower by the bears. However, bears are unable to keep prices lower, and bulls then push prices back to the opening price.

Of course, a Doji could be formed by prices moving lower first and then higher second, nevertheless, either way, the market closes back where the day started.

    • Wanna I like your trading style, it is very similar to mine but I would say in this market charts or any other past referances are pretty much out the window.

Have you ever seen a chart like LGF has now? There are forces at work here that are stronger than logic, like fear and greed.

      Sentiment: Hold

    • Options expiration has passed as well. I somehow broke even with all of the commotion after earnings. Shouldn't be much resistance to the upside when BD2 numbers come in.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • Thanks, wanna. By the way, where have you been all week? I thought you of all people would be watching the stock like a hawk leading up to opening weekend!

This guy martin is ruining our message board. Everyone should put him on ignore!

      Sentiment: Buy

      • Hi Voyegeur, I have been busy catching up on all the Twilight movies since I never saw them LOL. I was also travelling this week, so I was unable to contribute much to the board. Holidays roll in and things get crazy in the house, but I am watching and reading the board when I can. I tell you, the Twilight series are comical to me. Bella falls in love with a Vampire AND a Werewolf, this is corny to me, but it is also something you can't stop watching because it is so unusual and crazy that I keep wondering why there is such a cult following. Perhaps it's Jake's six pack abs? I have to tell you that I am compelled to finish watching, because I do want to see the part that Bella turns into a vampire. There is lots of eye candy for guys and gals, so that also keeps you from digging too deep into the absurdity of the love story. Even my husband wanted to watch yesterday; we watched the second movie New Moon. Today I watched Eclipse, so one more to go and I will be ready for BD 2 on Sunday!

I feel that the price is being controlled by large institutions not wanting the price to get ahead of itself. No doubt that this will reach $20 by end of first quarter. GLTA
