Piñon NG finding costs are quite low. Wells have EUR's in the 6 to 8 Bcf range but are close to 60% CO2. Methane at least 2bcf per well and cost around 2.2 million to drill. At 4 NG these wells would now be profitable, but the returns won't equal the MISS as there is very little liquid. Probably need NG in the 5.50 area for equal types of returns. There is a bunch more NG in the WTO outside the Piñon with lower CO2 count and likely better returns - largely unproven at present, but 3 very good discovery wells were drilled in fields outside the Piñon - likely another 20tcf in the WTO. Piñon has about 5tcf all HBP.
