      • Actually,

.......a more accurate representation of the performance of this stock can be shown if you look at it over a longer period of time. From 4 years ago this stock has dropped from $40 to $7, or 82.5%. This is far in excess of the broader market drop, whether you measure it against the DOW, Nasdaq or any other index.

The fact is there is NO institutional support of thie company to speak of. Several years ago the volume/level-of-interest was in the almost 1m shares per day range.

This management team has simply not delivered.

The prior management team pumped the stock in the 4th qtr of '07 when discussions were under way with Dell. They stuffed the channels, sold millions in options (look at what the VP Sales and President sold during that qtr), then reported an enormous miss the subsequent quarter and the stock tanked. They were subsequently fired. Unfortunately......shareholders are still holding the bag on this one. The CEO is a total incompetent. This is well known in the 'Valley. We all deserve a better management team. All we get at earnings releases are GAAP / Non-GAAP BS.

    • Lucky thing. If it were trading like most markets you'd see the crap knocked out of it.

How about telling the folks that the advance decline numbers show for the NASDAQ and NYSE so far today and see if it's SGI alone or the world markets under pressure
