Just as John McEnroe said years ago, "You cannot be serious!"
While I would like to believe a deal is imminent, there is no action in this stock whatsoever.
If a deal were happening this week, Wall Street Boys would be loading up on this puppy at $16-17.
While I think that a deal like the one being mentioned could happen someday, everyone will know about it and the stock will move up in anticipation of the event.
INTC does need new technology to surpass and overtake AMD, but not this week.
"I must say that in person (over the phone) Ed

>fundamental standpoint, "
Any professional would tell you the fundamentals suck! Fundamentally this is an 10-12 dollar stock.
Fundamentals is not another word for Fantasies.
Here's a good definition of Fundamentals as it applies to stocks.
Use this against NVEC. . . .
The basic economic, financial, and operating factors that influence the success of a business and the price of its securities. Fundamentals of a security include the price-earnings ratio, dividend payout, and earnings-per-share growth.

or this one. . . .
Information relating to the economic well-being of a company such as revenue, earnings, assets, liabilities and growth. These factors are used to determine the worth of an investment in fundamental analysis.
Take out the MRAM fantasies, i.e., there are no licensees and while NVE is a profitable company, their p/e is still too rich for the price. It's a 10%er year over year that's all. For many, that's not bad but, the psychos on this board who think this stock is going to save there miserable little lives are going to die waiting.
Hey, I actually called Ed to get his take on this. As a shareholder I have to look at the possibility of INTC buying NVE as serious because I know that ultimately INTC needs a spark to catapult them back in front of AMD in the technology dept.
I must say that in person (over the phone) Ed makes a compelling argument from a fundamental standpoint, but the technical side of this stock almost completely rules out the possbility of such an even occuring any time in the near future.
If Ed were aware of this news, then so would every close friend of sales reps at INTC and the stock would be trading actively.
No secrets on Wall Street. We all know that.
Ed, you have skills in defining the capability of MRAM and the future need for the technnology, but an imminent acquisition would have this stock moving up several dollars in advance of the announcement. SAAVY!!!!
Yes, you asked him to call you under your "philcocks" alias

I would like to talk with you on the phone about this in private.... Would you be willing to have a conversation off line?
Let me know and I will give you my phone number or vice-versa.
"No secrets on Wall Street. We all know that."
Are you still posing as a born-again Christian to hustle those Timothy Funds on Sundays?
Why don't you post more under that rickocasek2006 alias you also have. Of all the aliases you try to get over on, it's the hippest sounding.
"Hey, I actually called Ed to get his take on this. As a shareholder"
A real professinal "financial planner" you are. LOL!
This stock is moving down prior to conference call. What does that tell us? Right now, no one gives a hoot about this company. Except for Ed and two or three others. At the current price, I am close to falling below my cost basis, and that sucks.
You got it. This whole thing was cooked up by Ed The Virtuous just to pump NVEC stock. Sick people do sick things... and our boy Ed is very sick. Pay not attention to his pumps and rants. He's only good for entertainment. And really not very good for that now that he's turned bitter.
