Someone should save that post to replay to poor deluded Joe in January 2013. Same as Joe's astute predictions of BAC at $70 "soon" just before BAC started its tumble to less than $4.00.
Joe is a buffoon who has been out of touch with reality all his life.
Joe was a Bush supporter who posted here he would vote for McCain, that is, until Palin (a practicing Christian) was added to the ticket.
Now he's an anti-capitalist who is trying to rebuild his lost retirement funds in the capitalist stock market.
Senator Dick Durbin of Illinois says the Senate won't get around to Obama's jobs legislation for a few weeks. The Senate has more important issues on its plate. And they have to take a vacation later this month.
Here's Durbin on CNN yesterday:
CCN: When is the bill going to get on the floor?
DURBIN: The bill is on the calendar. Majority leader Reid moved it to the calendar. It is ready and poised. There are a couple other items we may get into this week not on the bill and some related issues that may create jobs.
CNN: After the recess, so next month? Or when will it actually begin to act on?
DURBIN: I think that's more realistic it would be sometime next month.
So, "right now" demanded 7 times by Obama on Sept 8 really means sometime at least a month later.
Good thing the president's party controls the Senate. If the GOP was in charge, there might be some kind of silly, unnecessary delays in deliberating Obama's urgent jobs bill that he says will surely help the nation's unemployed millions if only those Republicans don't connive to slow things down.
