I got the stock before the SOI split, so my cost basis for the MTC is about 35...so I'm pretty satisfied. Everything I'm seeing on MTC looks good...I don't think it's going to be fast money, but if you have patience...put it away and let it ride...IMHO

This company has gone from pre-split of $67 (in 12/94 when they purchased Kelco from Merck), that's $13.40/share after the 5/1 split to over $50, that's a 273% increase - try doing that in an index fund, or better yet some actively managed fund that can't even beat the S&P.
Incidentally, that increase doesn't include the kicker from MTC's spin of SOI - worth another 30% or so!
All of this without ever having to pay a dime in capital gains tax!
