They are evaluating strategic options to unlock shareholder value of all non-core business entities. Fidelity National Environmental Solutions IPO or sale coming in 2014? Sale coming to Halliburton to settle their arbitration? Lots of possibilities.
Hurst, The sale of the O&G fracking ap to HAL seems unrealistic. HAL would find it difficult to enlist other competitors to use their "new" product. There's some very complicated Corporate Finance going on between FNES & ET. Our naysayers "must" admit that while the Mac's are "present", ET is transforming into broader aps, a more prominent IR-PR firm, greater investments by FNF, Okeefenokee possibility and yes, awards. ET is starting to play with the Big boys ie. US Gov't.
What the hell is the Okeefenokee possibility? If you're referring to the "show" that was put on concerning cleaning up the St. Lucie River Estuary because of Lake Okeechobee runoff, you are sorely uninformed and obviously know nothing of what went on there.
Maybe they view this as a core business entity. They slapped their name on it. It does have a liability protection aspect to land assets due to outside causes right? I am no expert, but insuring land ownership / mortgages is their core business. Environmental protections of that land may fit into their core business strategy.
