the wal-mart branding board for vudu
Samsung is using the name. Samsung. You really think Samsung is using the name. You think they have an app on their devices and they used the name Blockbuster and they did it because they wanted to. They don't have signed agreements with DISH where DISH said that they could put the app on with the name Blockbuster because the terms were agreeable with DISH? You are a F'n retard.
Samsung now has the rights to use the name and logo of Blockbuster. Bonk, time to hit either the bong or the bottle, your always boring but you are completely stupid sober.
last3past is the last person i'd let handle my food, it'd be contaminated. now, as to the shell, its exactly what they need. what they don't need are hard assets or realestate. what do they need? agreements - intellectual properties - brand name - studio backing -
"what do they need? agreements - intellectual properties - brand name - studio backing -"
Walmart is a brand - BB Liquidating is not
Intellectual Properties belong to the studios
Brand Name - Blockbuster - belongs to DISH
Walmart sell over 50% of the DVD's that come on the market, I kinda think they already have a good relationship with the studios. Your arguments get weaker by the half hour.
Yes, it would be a great fit for Wal-mart. All these studios are formerly with Blockbuster, and if you take a look at the appearance of the Vudu website, it already looks like 'Blockbuster' save for the name.
It would combine the UV system, studios, and wal-mart along with cable and phones. Big synergies. also, a 'brand' fit in that its family oriented and appeals to lots of vendors.
Wal-Mart certainly has the $ to make an offer. Its a chance they shouldn't let pass them by.
