There is still much political strife and inflation in Turkey. If the Iraq chaos spills over into Turkey via Kurdish rebels or plain vanilla Islamic fundamentalists, the Turkish Index will take a nose dive. I know many Europeans are outsourcing labor to Turkey, but what else makes Turkey so attractive? Undervalued?
yes, lowest valued of all emerging markets, but one high interest rates and risky political environment even not counting the large population of kurds inside the country who want to brake off and join with kurds in iraq. fast money suggested it as a good buy to those with a little testosterone.
