Some people just get caught up with the momo stuff and what is hot in the last 2 minutes. Those are the people that wind up losing money and eaten up by the Wall Street sharks. I've always bought good quality companies in small increments during dips, so I always get some at the bottom and take my original investment out when the stock takes off. I've always made money that way. That's been my strategy for decades. It works.
AMEN and AMEN to both posts. People were yelling, kicking and screaming for me to "get out" Petrohawk (HK) during the past few years. Every time those calls became louder and the stock dipped a little, I bought a little more. Let me just say that (also thanks to the recent buyout), I tripled my investment with that stock. You guys have got it 100% right. Glad to see some smart investors on this board. It's refreshing.
