malunas6: In an impulse 5 waves there is always 3 corrective waves that correct these 5 waves. They are called 1,2, and 3. never call them A,B, and C. You use letters in the correction waves. That is, those 3 waves are A,B, and C that follow 5 waves impulse. Now, it looks like we are about to finish wave A and start wave B which may take us to about $20.
very good point...i did notice that but wondered if wave 2 was simply breaking into an ABC correction
I agreee with your wave assesment but not so much on why stec hit 42. i think investors saw the potential of ssd (which i dont feel has gone away) i think that is why stec invites competition ...it will grow the industry faster...and thus grow stec EPS
One big reason STEC reached $42 was the strong markets rally in 2009. We really don't want to get in the hype of things. If STEC can reach $20 in 2010, it will just more than good. unless there is another markets rally, which I highly doubt.
cjlldt: The way STEC acted the past week tells me of a nice run up to $15-$17 prior to Q1 report on 5/10. I mean the low volume when DOW was tanking 70 points the other day. Also on Friday, there was mini sell off with RIMM bearish news.
