Why did it take you this long to think about direct sales????
Shouldn't this approach have been initiated years ago. It certainly is not any novel strategy for increasing sales. Also, the loss per share is larger than anticipated, sales do not look that they will be increasing that much from the forecast, and projected cash balance will be around $10 million less at the end of 2013.
Management, you have had more than enough time to enhance shareholder value. Instead, your incompetence speaks for itself in the price of the shares. You are one big dissapointment.
Perhaps a change in leadership is needed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Disappointing for a number of reasons. At least six enhancers currently in products for sale (including two sucrose enhancers), and yet they forecast only $6M in total commercialization revenue for 2013? That averages to $1.5M per quarter, which is basically nothing. They need at least 10x that amount to really start making a consistent profit, IMO, and I don't see how that'll ever happen. The "direct sale" approach seems a desperation move as much as anything. I've been following this company for 6+ years, and I find it humorous that 2013 is now being called a "transition year". OK, then.
I don't have any position in this company, and I was waiting for earnings and 2013 forecast to determine if I'd take one. Having read the earning and forecast statement, I say...no thanks.
