Because someone who is an alcoholic probably has money or insurance to pay for this drug when it finally does become available for sale in 2017 or 2018 (if ever).
How many alcoholics are so worried about their health that they go get annual checkups and liver biopsies on a regular basis?
$5 Billion market cap and they have nothing but a possibility of getting a drug through the FDA approval process... Good Luck bag holders!!!
I don't think you really have too many facts straight. You might want to really learn all of the facts, and issues before commenting. ISIS DGAT2 inhibitor might be a better choice for the patient alcoholic liver disease vs. this drug for NASH. t
If only they were selling drugs for Alcoholic Herpes, now that would be a blockbuster. You know that case of herpes you catch after you drank 6 beers and 5 irish car bombs and decide to kiss the chick at the bar who has what you decide is just a minor case of lip sores.
FACT: This drug is so far from being available for sale that the company will have at least 3 rounds of dilution before getting through the FDA approval process. Just ask yourself what another 5 million or so shares added to the float does to the share price.
P.S. Good luck getting through a Phase 3 trial on the first try. That disappointment should be worth about a 75% drop.
