I've got a tip for you, Krunch, and a few of the others who happen to read this, which is in a word: tocotrienols.
I think that will be the next natural substance that will be pharmaceuticalized (if that's a word) and will be a blockbuster. I've been following its uses for ~5 years now, mostly in cancer treatment, although it has been studied in the repair of blood vessels and even replenish hair loss. The three isomers of the substance, which is itself an isomer of vitamin E, are the alph, delta, and gamma isomers. The scientific studies have mostly been all positive. The vitamin e that is used in OTC pills is tocopherol, which is great for anti-oxidant, but tocotrienol is better even for that use. Tocopherol is used because it is more readily absorbed bby the body. Ohio St has done a study using tocotrienol gamma and delta I believe in conjunction with chemo and had great success. The important thing when taking it now is not to take it in conjunction with tocopherol because the tocopherol will be absorbed and not the tocotrienol. well, just a thought for you guys to keep in mind and watch out for in the future.
It seems like yesterday that I was talking about how the institutions were trying to keep AMRN under $6 so they could accumulate. Now that number is $9 ... They tried early this morning and will be trying hard this week. Like a whitehead on a teenager, only a matter of time before it pops!
