Here's to all of you long who do not know how to read a balance sheet and seem to think that refinancing the credit line that is due this year is a walk in the park. The market says, "Wise up!"
At 12/31/08, Glimcher had $1.876 billion in total assets. The market says that the value of the common equity is worth $39 million (market capitalization). Think about that for a second. This stock is trash. I wouldn't be surprised to see it spike upward when the market turns around (I believe it will soon), but the common is going to end up being worth $0.05/share.
You mean that you think it will avoid BK? Not me.
