There's about 1 million revascularizations per year in US. If each revascularization used a single PAS-Port then that's a million units per year. Cardica is currently selling about 4 thousand PAS-Port units per year which is a tiny fraction (1 / 250) of the 1M unit per year potential. I like these numbers. Cardica is just getting started.

If CRDC could patner cardiac products with a large company with adequate marketing budget and sales force
these products would do well. To bad Century Medical doesn't operate in the US. The other hinderance to adoption outside of cash is that CMS Medicare does not reimburse devices....(pas-port/C-port).
