It sounds like exactly what it is. They outsourced the research and procured the patent rights to what it yields. It's definitely a good thing: they are working on something with major potential. Their research team is comprised of PhD's and former weapons development researchers. I expect this handpicked team can come up with some good results.
I don't see how encouraging people to read Securities and Exchange Commission filings, to get a better understanding of a company's financial condition prior to investing, qualifies as "bashing".....
But I suppose shills don't like those pesky facts getting in the way of a good story.
But be careful of pump & dump promotions. AGIN has ZERO employees, 1 part time consultant, almost no assets, no revenue, no actual projects. Read the fine print in their SEC filins, such as most recent 10-K
