occur from a food-borne illness or other unsanitary conditions on a CCL cruise, this stock will drop 20% overnight.
Large Cruise ships are inherently filthy and dangerous places. When the public wakes up to the hazards the industry will go into a death spiral.
OK, that's an exaggeration. But to make them safe the companies are going to have to spend a lot of money. Along with the higher fuel costs this will greatly increase the price of the cruises and/or squeeze the margins just at a time when consumers can least afford to pay more.
Tend to agree with you however a fiend who works for them says lots of slack being picked up by foreigners. A $2000 cruise is appx $1600-1650 for them w/ the dollar weak I will switch my opinion and say I will look to get in around 50 or so, do not hold a position now.
