I have been reading several postings on this board by unhappy staffing professionals that do not agree with the management styles and philosophies of their company. I just wanted to send a note telling you that you do have options and that some companies are making an effort to create a better place for the employee. I have worked for AOC / Ajilon Staffing for 5+ years and I must say that we are doing some amazing things that are truly going to revolutionize the traditional way that the business has been done. We have a new energy and are creating a fun place to work that will provide a great life/work balance, and give you all the career and personal development opportunities that we all deserve. It is an exciting time here. Drop me a line if you would like to discuss it in more detail.
Best regards
Corporate Recruiting Supervisor
An Ajilon Company
Is this guy for real? "We are going to Revolutionize the traditional way that business has been done? " Has anyone seen how many Ajilon resumes are on the net? I have interviewed 5 in the last 3 months that are pretty unhappy with the revolution!
Are you still at Kforce, iamheadhunter? If so, maybe you should cut the attitude and unnecessary sarcasm and thank this guy for offering a possible way out.
Although it is unlikely that anyone is going to "revolutionize" anything in the staffing world anytime soon, Kforce is actually getting worse at what they do with every passing day and every senior associate that they lose.
I don't know much about Ajilon, but if they are attracting ANY talent from the staffing world, they are doing better than Kforce right now.
God bless you Doug for opening your arms to the ex-Kforce/Romac/Source anger management team! No question they'll excel in your revolutionized, new energy, FUN :) place to work, perfect life/work balance environment your company offers! And I'm sure it's not a RED FLAG that the majority of unhappy ex-staffing pro's posting on this site had philosophical and management disagreements...just massage them a little, they'll tell you what you want to hear.
But a word of caution, once they find it's not the old "source model" - you're going to have your hands full of 2nd rate finger pointers, no customer service-high maintenance types jumping ship and muddying up not only the Kforce chat board, but yours as well.
Change is inevitable folks (except from a vending machine).
What is your point? Not all the folks on this board are ex-Romac, ex-Source or ex-KForce staffing personnel... they may be from other staffing firms, or they may be corporate types... and certainly, and sadly enough, much of what has been repeated by many on this board, the decline in the working environment at KForce is all too true!
The staffing business is a difficult and competitive one, in the best of times... but my sense is that the situation at KForce is really difficult, in difficult times! Most of the great folks I worked with are LONG gone. Whether or not the notion of "loyalty" seems to be a "dead" or "unfashionable" one in these times of instant millionaires and instant paupers, and VERY short attention spans, is moot, in any company where employees feel TRULY valued, they will stay, job hunting is a rather unpleasant chore, I know, I'm there, right now...
