To answer your question, I think BTU will break out when there's a big private-equity or foreign equity acquisition in the coal industry, and a scramble erupts for others. Could be any day now. By someone who already owns a large powder-river basin railroad perhaps?
Lots of dislikes there Ford. What do you think about the 2009-2011 stock performance in light of your above opinion? Nothing really has changed policy-wise since that time.
I don't think we can blame the price of NG on Obama. The 'drill baby drill' crowd may be more to "blame" than he is. Or republican governors giving tax breaks to the gas frackers with the "job creation" chant. As you've seen with your democratic governor, they keep the frackers on a tight leash or better yet give them the boot.
You are so right, historyrepeats45. Look at what's going on in Texas - with that idiot that sits in the governor's seat (but not yet in the governor's mansion. Since it was almost destroyed by fire several years ago, he and his family have lived in another mansion costing $6000 per month paid by the Texas taxpayers). He loves NG and gives millions in tax breaks to frackers and other NG profiteers while cutting funding for education, Medicaid, and other important life needs. And his reward -- well you can figure it out. BTW, he is a very "conservative" Republican..
