ECA now up to 25% of my stock holdings and 10% of overall portfolio (I am 40% stocks, 60% mutual funds) .
That is the highest concentration of any one holding that I have ever had on the stock side.
I really don't see any need to reallocate however. The value proposition here is very high and there are a lot of potential trillions of cubic feet of gas and billions of barrels of heavy oil from oil sands that are not being reflected in the share price.
On the other hand I do need a new stock or two. I like to keep 20 but am down to 17. I can't find anything I like better. I like the WMC business and value case - I just don't like the low ball offer hanging over the company and the fact that the share price might drop 1) if the offer succeeds or 2) if the deal as expected falls apart and the company is no longer in play (ie it becomes clear a bigger offer is not sitting out there).
