    TKOI technology and iPhone

It would be really nice if TKOI can extend their room temp control technology from motion detection based system to allow guests using their iPhone to control and detect.... ie. if you (and your iphone) is in the room (or nearby) via WiFI, you should be able to control the energy setting in the room on your iPhone/iPad. So instead of waiting 10-15 minutes after you get into your room, your room already cool down as soon as you walk in the lobby.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • I am sure that college kids in these residence halls would love to be able to use their iPad/iPhone to remotely control their room, from anywhere within these "highly-respected universities"

      • When the economy changes for the better, companies will spend monies to reduce overhead. This technology is a no-brainer and the cost savings are appreciable. The problem is that companies have tightened their belts until the economy changes; people start spending money. All report indicate that this is just now starting to happen. And, to assist the movement, Government is making a number of concessions relative to tax free advantages for those companies that go green and make green saving advancements. We are in the cat bird seat and are just now seeing the usefullness of the technology.
