Taxing Cooperations and the Rich is Not the Answer - Facts!
Apparently you and pogogomer did not watch my attached video in it’s entirety.
By taking “all” the money from the rich and “all” the profits from the Fortune 500 companies there would still not be enough money to cover and pay for this years deficit. The questions then become; where will the money come from to make up next years deficit? And, where will the money come from to start paying down the massive US debt?
Can either one of you answer either question and back it up with facts? I will be waiting....
Our present economic disaster started 34 years ago with the passage of the Housing and Community Development Act by Jimmy Carter. That act and coupled with 34 years of incremental liberalism, laws and legislation relaxing mortgage lending laws lead to the housing mortgage bubble that finally burst in 2008 (Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac).
Those enablers that have supported H.R.6655 over the past 34 years should be accused, indicted, prosecuted and jailed. Although there are many others, we should start with Barney Frank and Chris Dodd and work our way down the liberal food chain.
Additionally, we should fire Mr. Geithner and Mr. Bernanke, start to cut wasteful and useless government programs as well as eliminate useless government departments and government regulations.
What a useless fact challenged rant. The GOP has done absolutely nothing to demonstrate they have the answers to an economy, in which their policies of deregulation and tax-cuts tanked. I would have little problem listening to what the GOP is proposing today, however; they have done little other than obstruct and paint their continuing fantasy world of the 'boogeyman' Carter, who while President ran a rather boring social Whitehouse; yet he did not subvert the Constitution while having 187 members of his administration and cabinet be indicted for wrong-doing like Dutch Reagan.
The GOP loves its mythical Dutch; because the real one raised taxes 11 times, exactly the opposite of your unremarkable argument and he left the nation mired in debt; as he raised the debt ceiling from 900 Billion to well over 2 Trillion dollars. Finally, while the dittoheads love to accuse President Obama for letting the illegals over-run the country; they ignore the fact that this administration has been tougher on this issue than any other one; and compared to Dutch Reagan who granted amnesty to around 4 million, the hypocrites in the GOP have no argument, when one separates their propaganda from the facts.
What things Dutch Reagan did in the 1980s was left of President Obama, yet here are the ill-informed dittoheads in the GOP pretending he was some arch-conservative. Once again, proving that the biggest issue in the GOP is for its leadership to keep them angry, hate-filled and ignorant---then these folks can vote against their economic interest and smile while doing so.
