Although I own some JJSF I feel LNCE, DMND or HAIN are much more aggressive companies than JJSF and are not afraid to open their wallets to expand sales/profits. JJSF only likes to buy basement bargain obscure small niches. I guess that philosophy came about because JJSF started out twenty or so years ago from a bankruptcy auction. I'm willing to pay a premium PE ratio for aggressive companies. I would add to my position in DMND, LNCE and HAIN on weakness and would only consider adding to my position in JJSF if it drops below a 13 PE ratio. Out of the four companies I believe JJSF is most effected negatively by spikes in oil and commodities.
