again the market maker makes a bogus trade 1,700 for 3.92 at the close when the stock was trading tightly between $3.99 and $4.01. Trying to knock the stock off the percentage gainers list? It looks like outright manipulation to me.
The market may close at 4:00, but any trades in the queue at 4:00 will be drained and filled. So if you put in an order exactly at 4:00 it may execute 10 seconds later if others orders are ahead of yours. So there really is nothing to get away with. The computer looks at the last trade at 3:59:59.98 and enters a trade at 3:59:59.59 to pull the price back. Retail investors can't pull this off but the trading firms can.
I'll say! It's an amazing closing pattern/trend. Looks like there were 2 trades slightly after the bell for a total of 3400 shares at $3.92. One registered at 1 second after 4pm and the other at 11 seconds after 4pm. Did they slip up a bit this time?
