Just read on another board that if you put your shares up for sale at a price higher than you expect the stock to reach (say in NFI's casd about 36), the broker handling your stock can not loan them out to the shorts. Is this true?
In most cases, a broker will not loan out shares that are offered for sale, regardless of the offering price. However, it can be done and it is done. If it is legal to do so is another matter.
