If it's worthless, then why the spike from .31 to .57 and not .00? This was a different circumstance in that AMR had over 4B in the bank and they were still allowed to file BK...total #$%$. It was a ploy to break the union and the BK judge should not allow the commons to be destroyed. Most commons don't survive a BK, but in this case there is a good possibility they will put a package together and keep the commons in tack. It's obvious you will disagree, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

The judge wouldn't even allow a stock holders equity committee. The only way AMR can come out of bk is by issuing new stock, the old is totally dead except for people like you keeping it alive with your wishful thinking.
