AMR Corporation Message Board

I see a lot of bs on this board about this stock. From Bloomberg:

"Besides the split of equity between AMR creditors and US Airways investors, the proposed merger calls for existing AMR stockholders to get shares in the combined company, two of the people said. Details of that plan are still being negotiated, one person said. "

    • "The sides have agreed that AMR’s bankruptcy creditors would get 72 percent of the equity in the new carrier, with 28 percent for US Airways shareholders (LCC), " The way that old AMR stockholders will get "stock" in the new company while the creditors and US Airways shareholders get 100% of the new shares is that the that old AMR stockholders will get warrants to buy shares in the new company with a strike price that equates to 100% recovery for AMR creditors, bottom line is that old AMR shares will be worth about $.0.001 each
