I absolutely agree with edawizard on this. As shared in other posts, it must be a surgical removal of underperforming product offerings, and that requires large workforce reduction in the process.
Separate from the crime against shareholders by this managment team, I feel badly for the CDNS workforce that it comes down this way, largely due to years of mismanagment by the BoD and senior managment team. The workforce are the ones that pay the penalty for such arrogance by management for so many years. Management will always walk away with their fat pockets filled with cash. It is afterall, the American corporate mode of operation isn't it.
