I thought I would respond to you here so the MWE crew doesn't get nervous! That GEL press release is amazing. To see GEL gaining a key position in crude distribution logistics in the refinery area of Louisiana with Exxon as the anchor customer is just marvelous. What's really neat, too, is that it involves a full suite of GEL services: rr tankcar and barge unloading facilities. crude tank storage, and big pipelines. This is very close to the GEL rr/barge terminal at Natchez, too. . It is clear that GEL is moving into a bigger league with these moves. Obviously, PAA is far larger. However, GEL should be able to grow faster from its' smaller base. I also like the fact that GEL has neither a GP nor IDRs to chop into DCF. The recent surge in unit price has raised my position in GEL to number two in my portfolio behind only MWE. PAA is now number three. It's amusing to think that the cancellation of Keystone would result in a further, bigtime GEL score for us!!

as mentioned gel is now my number one position.
i do believe by years end we can achieve between 45 -50 pps.
      i loved the exxon news.
means exxon recognizing gel as a player.
i saw recently credit swiss naming its fav mlp stocks for 2013 which if memory serves was paa,kmp family i think mmp one ot 2 other large mlps and gel.
also liked gel finacing expansion with credit line rather then a so.
as for keystone it deserves to be part of the usa expansion but if that dummy in wash d. c.passes on it cause of green pressure add another several points to the equation.
once or twice in our investing careers we get one entirely right.
this maybe the one and the one u leave to children as long as this management team in tact.
i loaded up after the barge transaction.
thats a cash register and i liked everything before they did and after that transaction even better decisions.
as for mwe more so s this year but 2014 2015 will be great with much larger distributions.
these 2 make my decision wether to retire or not much easier.
      enjoy the ride.
as usual enjoy your opines on the mwe board.
      good investing
