What I don't understand is...
NBG was originally worth 1.20. If they do a reverse split, then shouldn't the number of shares be divided by 10 and the price be multiplied by 10? Instead, it got multiplied by like 5.x. What happens to the rest of the money for the people who had the old shares before R/S? When/how do they get the other half of the cash?
but it will never reach $12! that's like giving half your buy back! that's a no no for Nbg. The highest NBG has ever been in 10 years was $13 NBG made so much off US investors that this is just a cover for the moments breakout then the Greek bids will get lower and lower by then the word sucker will start to form across your forehead. NBG had last RS left me with 200 shares! that should of hit $15 to be even, now 20 shares have to hit $150 per share to be even! So do you now understand how much NBG ripped off US investors in the last 3 years?
put it this way! if you had 200 shares then you got 20! when you had 200 shares it was worth 200 x 1.22=$244.00 now you have 20 and it's worth 20 x 7.22 =$144.00 they left 200 shares worth nothing at the end of your portfolio for the broker to take if your not informed how to exercise the Cusip so more than likely your rights to the 200 shares will be to buy 200 shares at cost set by NBG So you already lost have of your buy after the RS besides if it does get to $12 then sell asap because the Greeks on this one are planing to milk US investors!!
