Looks like this group already owns more than 40% and still keeps buying. Anyone see a similar situation in the past where there is very little volume and most shares are with institutional holders/insiders. The shares once traded in the $20 range but don't see "outside" institutions getting in due to lack of liquidity and huge insider ownership already. Looks like the company will go private at some point......only question is at what price?
Good find! However, I don't think they own quite as much as it looks like. Robert W. Roche's shares are a combination of the Acorn Composite Corporation and the Robert Roche 2009 Trust, so don't count those twice.
However, they obviously own quite a lot and it sounds like they've been accumulating fairly recently. There are purchases on there as recently as June and this was filed July 22. At a glance it looks like they've acquired over 27%.
