I am not a regular but would love one of regulars to help me understand something that really is bothering me. Lets assume (which I really don't like to do) that someone is a day-trader and wants to keep the volume going on this stock. Would this site have any value to this individual(s)? Also would like to know just as an example: How much $ could a day-trader have made with a $10,000. investment, between 9:30 & 11:00 today? Thanks and good luck to all.

    • Although I dont consider myself a day trader, I do keep a core position in this stock and also buy on the dips to cash in on the peeks.
Day trading is usually more profitable on stocks that move larger percentages, one of my favotites is AEGN. Not a long term stock, but if you do some research, you can see the price swings. Just dont own any when it gors belly up.

    • I'm going to assume that you're not just trolling. To question #1 , no, this board would have no value at all to a daytrader. Question # 2 is moot, no "real" daytrader is going to waste his time flipping 3K shares on a low volume day with no rally in sight.

BTW if you only have 10K to "invest",your account will be flagged tomorrow. Flip a stock 3 times in a day without at least 25K in your account and the SEC will not be pleased.....good luck

    • PS: Jimmy, checked some of the many posts by you around the boards also!

    • Jimmy--No this was a lesson to the people who spend the rent $ on cheap stocks by getting their research from message boards that MAY have posters that only have their OWN interest at heart--

    • epq, This stock moves wildly, alot of times, in the opposite direction of the general market. Institutions are making money controling the movements of the share price from one fund to another(Cigar has great posts on this). Great stock to trade on small movements 7-10 cents per share, sometimes many times a day. I prefer to hold long, this has made me money for the last year +. I know if I "daytrade" this stock it will take off, and I will loose the upside gain. Good luck all!
