I don't know about the buyout timing...wish I did. I would speculate anytime after Critical Care results and launch...which could be another year. That's assuming Echo can find a buyer...In the last presentation, Mooney said that the company is not for sale, but he also alluded to the company being sold multiple times as well and has mentioned previously that there are Pharmas that have shown some interest.
Absolutely agree on ease of use...the whole point with critical care is to make the many readings they currently do today much simpler. If it doesn't deliver in that aspect, then it may very well be useless to them. This is a key trial as this is where Mooney wants to launch first..since critical care doesn't need a robust sales force and it's less competitive.
