We ask AX to immediately cease and desist its relationship with the new 2 for 1 rewards point program. Uber is an unregulated, illegal company operating in a regulated ground transportation industry. There has been regulatory opposition in every major city worldwide and States throughout the USA. They will not obey the laws anywhere. There are numerous legal proceddings at all levels throughtout and most recently yesterday, the State of PA has banned UBER. Please source all the media for its history. It all speaks for itself.
The major problem for AX is its referral liability to its worldwide card members. Uber and AX now advertise 2 for 1 reward points, if the card holder uses UBER for transportation and gives them an AX card to process for the ride. If there is an accident, injury, or death caused by an UBER driver who has no permit, commercial for hire license or insurance, the cardholder is left standing alone(there are 53 known claims and over 161 lawsuits of which over 20 in Federal Court) currently against UBER and they have turned their back on each one including the tragic death of 6 year old Sophia Liu on New Year's Eve in San Francisco). The public is not protected and placed in harm's way.
AX would have tremendous exposure if an accident happened and the attorneys would come after AX for referral liability as AX induced their worldwide cardholders to use an illegal unregulated public carrier like UBER ,LYFT, SIDECAR and other cyberspace app companies.
Please rescind immediately any prgrams or relationships with UBER Now.
