looks like the buyout was a negative burden on ESV instead of a positive one. there seems some negative headwinds to the Co. based on an assumed cut in profit due to the buyout.Perhaps the selling will stabilize and the real value of the Co will become apparent several months down the road. I see ESV hitting the 40's unfortuantely sometime in the summer.
86 million shares were issued pursuant to the acquisition today. That's a lot of additional shares available on the sell side of the equation and some investors (likely hedge funds) wanted to book some end of month profits on the deal.
