Can someone tell me what the HIGH price for AIG before the trouble started and before the 1/20 reverse stock split. Most of research website show adjusted price, so I want to make sure I have it right.
who cares? it's not the same company, the market cap is way lower, but the number of outstanding shares is 20 times less. it's going up, but placing an enterprise value on it unreliable at best. We'll know more as the outstanding debt issues are further resolved, which is getting pretty close, and what the income statment looks like
Think it was 80-90 range pre-reverse. This isn't the same company that it was in early 2005 though. I doubt AIG will ever see 50% of that valuation. I believe it was around 200 billion when Spitzer forced Greenburg out.
