Vivid Cabaret adult night club in Palm Bay, Florida is being accused of wrongfully using the name. It is being sued by Los Angeles-based Vivid Entertainment LLC. It looks like Florida guy has a trademark registration filed and granted in April 2013, and he was using the name before. That can't be good. This one could be tough. Article is in FloridaToday.
I wish Hooters was a publicly traded company. Now that's a company that can stick with one name/concept and understands branding. RICK is like a tiny boat in the middle of the Atlantic with no aviation equipment. It's just lost and wallowing about.
I was in new Orleans and thought I was checking out a Rick's Cabaret. It even had the same corny sign with the stars on it. Come to find out, it doesn't even belong to RICK. The horror! And now there's multiple Vivid Cabarets? I just want one name that I can trust to have the finest women in the area and consistanly excellent food. RICK management is dropping the ball and burning cash and time on blunders imo. Yeah, they make a little profit, but it should be alot better if the CEO was serious about including shareholders.
