It is important to understand that this company does not make estimates of gross or net revenues. They pre-announced a range for eps and they met this figure.
Any revenue estimates out there belong to stock analysts. If these estimates were wrong, any "credibility" problem rests elsewhere.
Even a casual observer of this industry understands that the decline in fuel charges makes up a major portion of the year over year gross revenue decline. The rest can be explained by the global economy. If their customers are shipping less, and it is safe to assume they are, they will bill less.
Yah, fed-ex has closed alot of locations, the post office is closing locations. Duh, you bet there is less shipping going on, duh.
Assumptions of short interest? Just because someone doesn't side with longs view, you immediately think someone is short. Well, ASSuME.
Well, let's take that a step further. I can assume all of you people that talk on this message board are bored employees that are just wasteing the companies time and money by posting on this board. They should fire your but and that will allow them to save money for the company, add to the bottom line, so they will be rewarded with more stock options for Christmans/ bonuses.. So, FYI. Never waste a good cause to get rid of a wasteful employee.
