Getting back into the car, the driver sped off arriving at the emergency room of Barnes-Jewish Hospital for treatment.
Flippin' unbelievable and it just costs us more to treat these morons because neither had insurance, of course.
Want to get more outraged?
Like the individual in your example, many people use the E/R not just for emergencies, but as their Primary Care Physician.
The Federal Gov mandates care for anyone who shows up.
Ask yourself; How do these people get there?
This person drove himself, most do,.
When they leave, most do.
Where do they go?
Most go home.
Then where do they go?
Most go to work.
I content 90% of the people who go to the E/R not for a true emergency, and have no insurance have full well the capacity and ability to pay.
Plenty of solutions. Urgent Care for those "known offenders". Fines and strong collection efforts including wage and salary attachments.
Will the government do such a thing?
Not a chance!.
Why should they when you can just pay more for your insurance.
The governmenet plan is ; Fleece the sheep with the wool.
And the ultimate absurdity is that some people clammor for more taxes and more government programs to take care of the needy.
Look promising. Volume is good. I was actually thinking of freeing up more money to buy more shares. I was hoping it would stay close to $10 to average down further, oh well missed opportunity.
