Do you feel the US Energy Information Agency the International Energy Agency and other sources that say coal is, and will continue to be the world's fastest growing source of energy for the foreseeable future are incorrect in their analysis? If so, why?
The level of volatility in this stock makes it a "trader" stock. Short-term news will move this stock in wild directions.. including news of pending warmer weather. Makes it good for a short-term short but ultimately, if you're a long term "investor" then agree with your analysis and credence given to the IEA, and this stock is set for massive returns in the next 3 - 10 years. You have to set and foget it too. But for now... the risk is to the downside. Warm weather but also the Senate is looking for additional revenue and given ACI is selling coal to China at a price greater than what is being reported to the US, this spells "headwind" to me since it means higher royalties impacting the bottom line.
