You have to look at the big picture. Namely, cheap coal from Australia/Indonesia filling-the-gap across the pond. With NG stil cheap (under 4 bucks) and likely to remain so for years coal can't complete effectively. EPA regulations and perceptions of coal being a major contributor to green-house gases is another nail.
I think there was misplaced hope that exports of coal would make up the balance of the drop in coal consumption in the US. It is clear that has not been the case and each time a mine is closed that is less income for any company that is over-leveraged.
If that can survive another year then maybe they can recover.
As of 3/1, shareholders will receive a dividend 3/15. Everyone that was to get in got in
BUT ACI at a new all time low so how does that equate? With the USD?
USD is up to 82.50 3/2/13. Seems like a buy but lately many of my sure things were #$%$.
I'll watch for a double bottom with confirmation.
How in the holy FUGG do you have any money left, cadmium doofus? Honestly? You have been butt pumping coal stocks for two years as they have all fallen MASSIVELY, including PCX going bankrupt and you having owned plenty of shares. What is McDonald's paying these days? Jesus. There isn't anyone more stupid than you on this entire planet.
