The dip is done. Lumber prices have recovered. All lumber mills will report good earnings for a while, and Paper is not as bad as some would have one believe. Traditionally lumber recovery is a strong indicator for an improving overall ecnomy. IP is in a great position to make LOTS of money when paper and lumber are both clicking. Dixieternity
Lumber might be clicking but paper is not and paper is as bad as it is. Energy costs, labor and offshore and the dollar are blasting paper domestically. Just look at the mills that have closed and the decreases in production through down time in attempts to put some balance in all of this. The last time lumber and paper were clicking was 1995. Still tons of paper in the world market when 3/4 tons are all that is currently needed.
