"Simon Property Group’s (SPG) decision to eliminate 90% of their cash dividend is the most vile of breaches between shareholder and management. "
" for one, am thrilled. I’ve been short SPG for some time now. My carry cost just went down nine-fold. Additionally, whatever modicum of fear I’ve had about management being able to pull the rabbit out of the hat over the next 24 months has been completely eradicated. "
Not to bash, but you might want to rethink your strategy. I saw you shorted most (5000) of those shares at 23.60. And you're covering now at 22.75. And you saw the shares move 90 cents against you to 24.50.
So, you basically risked 90 cents to make 85 cents. That's not a good trade on my book. You should shoot for at least 2:1 risk reward.
