I went completely to cash back in January as I knew this real estate bubble would pop just as the dot com bubble did. I'm back into stocks this week as I think a bottom is here or close. There are some good bargains out there. I bought some JOYG, BUCY, and BKD will be added next week. Your portfolio is probably so far under water that you were force to move back in with your parents and are living off of their social security checks.
Speaking of living off of our parents, while everyone is watching their own so-called retirement funds disappear, we are all assuming that Social Security and Medicare will still be intact by the time Boomers 'truly' utilize retirement housing. We are perhaps assuming that these two critical income/insurance streams will be there...other words, if our 401K can disappear, whose to say that SS & Med won't, too?? After all, no one thought that Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac would blow-up either.
Oh, don't worry about me Imbecile. I can buy and sell your dumbass many times over. When you went to all cash back in January, I probably had more cash in my wallet than you did in your brokerage account.
