Duke pe is under 10All of dukes peers have pe ratios of 4 to 10And all of dukes peers either have no dividend or really small dividend yields. All of dukes IPP peers have junk credit ratingsAll of dukes peers are facing the possibility of immediate bankruptcy if the banks do not negotiate loans that are due this year. Duke is not facing bankruptcyDuke has a solid dividend yieldDuke has investment grade creditLook at RRI they are trading with a pe over 4 - no dividend CPN pe of 6 - no dividendDyn pe of 20 - no dividendDuke has a pe ratio of 9 and a dividend yield over 8 percent. Do you really think duke will go much lower? I dont see how. The pe ratio is already low. And duke is not facing the threat of bankruptcy this year or next yet all of dukes IPP competitors who are facing the treat of bankruptcy this year are trading with PE ratios very close to dukes.
DUK is a STRONG BUY imho. Buys like this seldom come along!
i know i am just pointing out that rri has a pe of 4 and is facing bankruptcy this year if the banks do not negotiate with them. RRI has no dividend. CPN has a pe of 6 and is facing bankruptcy this year if the banks do not negotiate with them. cpn has no dividend. dyn has a pe of 20 and is facing bankruptcy this year if the banks do not negotiate with them. dyn has no dividend. Duke is not facing bankruptcy and it has a dividend yield over 8 percent! And a PE ratio under 10! This is a strong buy hold at least till the summer.
